The Bear River Baseball team left on Wednesday for St. George to participate in the State 3A Baseball Tournament. Nate dresses with the team even though he is a Sophomore ---- (sometimes gets a few minutes of playing time). Tonya and MacKenzie left early Thursday morning to be able to make the 1:30 game. Some good news on Thursday ---- they beat this game easily. However, the second game was rained out and had to be played this morning. At 11:30 they faced Cedar City. An eight inning game left them victorious with a 4 to 3 win. Then it was a quick trip to the college campus for game 2. They had only twenty minutes to do this ----- no time for food or rest. If they could pull through on this one they would still have one more game to go to continue to advance. DARN IT ---- the run has come to an end. Tonya reports that they got skunked 13 to 2 in a five inning game. That ends this season ----- good try.
