Great Grandchildren Make a Visit

It was fun to see the little great grandchildren. My how fast the little ones grow. They are so cute and their Moms and Dads are sure great. Baby Garrett is so healthy and strong. Uncle Brandon says he will be walking in no time. Such a little trooper when traveling to see family in northern Utah.

Little Kinley is not quite walking but manages to get where she wants real quick. She let go of the end table and just stood for a moment so I think walking is not far behind. She loved Grandma Greats cell phone but was a little taken back when it would ring. Uncle Paul had fun teasing her by calling my phone. "Where did that noise come from" seemed to be on her mind. She enjoyed looking at the Christmas Village and was such a big girl about just looking, only touching the snow. Such a little sweetheart.

Sorias Were Christmas Decorating

Heather was so excited to see the Christmas decorations coming out. She really was a character. Sam was asleep and Dad Sid was getting close to needing the bed.

Thanksgiving Week

It has been a very wonderful Thanksgiving Week for Brad and I. Seemed so strange not to be busy shopping and preparing our home and food for Thanksgiving visitors. The food budget was definitely smaller. We spent a wonderful time with the Despain family in Stansbury Park. Their friends Matt and Jamie and their two boys Christopher and Tyler enjoyed a fantastic meal with us. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted so good. After spending the night we returned home via the Sorias and the Isaacsons. Just like Amy, Sid had hit the early morning Black Friday Sales. They both had saggy eyes. We enjoyed some special visits from family and so appreciate them and each one of you. Grandpa and I know that without each one of you and the help that you give us we would be unable to accomplish and enjoy the things that we do. Thank you so much ----you are truly our greatest blessing. We LOVE you.

Doing Crafts at Tonyas

Meagan invited Grandma to do some crafts with her and Tonya on Saturday. Thanks Meagan and Tonya. So many fun things going on. I promise I will get my finished at home.

We Are Happy for Kelsey and Dusty

We had a special visit from Kelsey and Dusty last night to share their wonderful news with us. They are engaged!!!!! I don't think we were too surprised but we were certainly thrilled for them. Our prayers are with them and their families that during this time of preparation they will have great moments of joy and closeness. A temple and eternal marriage is their choice and we could not be more proud. Love will flourish when blessed by the temple ordinances and the companionship of our Father in Heaven and our Savior. Our very best to them and lots of love.

Teases

I Don't Know Who is the Biggest Tease

Grandpa and I picked up Heather at the Isaacson home Friday afternoon to spend the night with us. Her mom and dad (and baby Samuel---Nat said he just does not sleep well enough to leave with someone overnight yet) spent the night at a hotel in Salt Lake at a special wrap party.
She had not napped so thought she would sleep for the hour that it would take to get home ---- nope not in the cards. She was so excited she talked all the way. We always have fun when she visits. She and Grandpa just tease and tease. Thanks for sharing her with us Nat and Sid. We drove her home on Saturday afternoon but could not tell her where we were going because "SHE WAS NOT GOING HOME". She did fall asleep this time and when she woke up at her house she was good --- no tears because we took her home. She is such a happy little one and just goes about her busy little life.

Skylar gets glasses

Three out of four of the Isaacson boys now have their glasses. Skylar is the last one for now ---- so proud of him. He looks great and is fun to be with. Report cards were received this week and Grandma is so very proud for the way Skylar is taking hold and doing so well. Still aiming at that 3.5 by the end of the year. Keep working Sky.

The Princess

Heather and Mom had a wonderful day at the Disney Princesses on Ice. A girl thing. Great to share special times together. Heather really loves the Disney Princesses and anything that is associated with them. Mom and daughter had a fun time together. Such a cutie

Really -- Santa will bring me toys? I'm ready

Past six months and growing so fast. So glad that Sam has done well from his surgery and not gotten ill with any respiratory bugs. Gives lots of smiles and loves to see everything that is going on. No more laying down it is sitting up for him. Won't Christmas be fun at the Sorias this year.

Oh My!! Such Pain for Beauty

Well MacKenzie has joined the ranks of Kelsey and Nate and now has some braces on a part of her teeth. She is handling it quite well even though there is some discomfort. Seems there was a little bit of "drama" during the first night but no one is quite sure just what exactly took place since mom and daughter were both so tired. (I do remember the first ear piercing --- doing much better with this) She is already as cute as can be but beautiful teeth will make that smile breathtaking.

Visitors

Lots of visitors this last weekend and other fun family events ---- just some cute photos of family of things happening

Tile Work is Complete

Dennis with the help of Grandpa and I (we are great cleaner uppers) has completed the tile work in the backroom and the little bathroom. The house had to be totally cleaned again (we had just done some deep cleaning the last two weeks) because of the fine sand dust that he created when he cleaned out the grout lines for grouting. You could see it in the air and write your name in the dust on anything that you wanted. But ---- it is so worth it. I really and pleased. Thank you so much for last years Christmas gift so that we could purchase the tile. We have moved a few things around to make the space more usable and hope to have many years of enjoyment left. All that is left is the little sink cabint to be built in the backroom. We so appreciate everyones help during this project. We could not do it without you.

Thanks to Amy, Danny and Jacob for a great Christmas Gift

The Week has been a very busy one but such a great one. When Amy found out that we were having some tile work done she and Danny put their heads together and decided to do some other up grading in the little bathroom also. So new towel racks and toilet paper holders are now installed along with a brand new finish on the vanity. They purchased the supplies necessary and ten steps later and new hardware installed the cabinet is beautiful. Then she moved on to the island which was held up by contact paper and the cabinets and drawers by the sink. Danny and grandpa cut the bead board for the door inserts, while Amy did the refinishing. She worked so hard and wanted them to be just perfect for me. They are perfect and no longer will I be saying "When I get my new Kitchen". Over the next several weeks she will finish the other cabinets and hopefully during the summer grandpa and I will be able to have a nice wood floor installed.

Happy Birthday to DelRay Woodruff

DelRay finishes up the week of Birthdays. (November 21st) He was the very first in-law to join our family. He carried alot of burdon by being so. How grateful I was to him for his willingness to help me and my family when we were a single parent family. Wading in mud to keep it from coming in our basement windows, letting the little children go with him and Tonya. (now that is something for a young man --- he must really love Tonya)catching the water snakes even though he hated them and for always being such a kind thoughtful gentleman. You are very special. Over the years I have learned that sometimes our judgements can be so wrong and that I was very blessed to have someone like DelRay come into my life and the life of my family. I love you DelRay and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there. Feeling so afraid and alone you stepped up like the great man that you are and helped to carry us through. I hope that your birthday is the best ever and that you will share many more with your family. HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Happy Birthday to Tyson Nesbit

Happy Birthday to a special Grandson Tyson. It is a big twenty-one for Tyson. WOW - how time has hurried by. We hope that your day was special and that the year will be filled with great things. Tyson is such a great example of what you can accomplish when you save and watch your money. That fancy Mustang he drives and a nice computer plus a good savings account are proof of how careful he is about his money. We are very proud of him. He is always such a polite, kind and thoughtful grandson. Love to you Tyson.

Happy Birthday to Todd Johnson

Todd has celebrated a great birthday by going to work at Malt o Meal. We hope his day was great. We have really appreciated Todd being a part of our family. A little shocking at first -- (you know when he asks your daughter to marry him at HER JUNIOR PROM) but it has been great. Todd has worked hard to support and care for his family. We appreciate all that he does. We do have one great wish for Todd and that is that he will never roll another four-wheeler or get ran over by tractors. Accidents just seem to follow him. Todd has always been there as our number one sheetrocker man --- thanks a bunch for all of your help. We wish Todd the best and many more HAPPY BIRTHDAYS.

Birthday's have not been forgotten

Todd and Tyson have celebrated Birthday's on Sunday and Tuesday ---- I have not forgotten you ---- just a little behind with all of the action going on in our lives. Leaving for Logan and Riverside now. Will post a birthday message later. We love you both.

Another Hectic Day

Are we ever going to catch up??????? My it has been another hectic day. Left for Walmart this morning at 7:30 a.m. to pick up an order -- and return it. (was the wrong color). Well two hours later we were able to leave the store. They couldn't figure out how to get it into the inventory so they could return it. Planned an hour for the whole trip. Well needless to say the rest of the day has been about the same. The toilet leaked bad between the bowl and tank and would require a new gasket but needless to say the old bolts holding it together were so rusted they could not be screwed out so grandpa ended up hacksawing one and I broke the other one in half when I was holding the tank to help. He was real glad for my goof. The new faucet for the sink did go in a bit easier. It only took the trip to Walmart and two trips to Greer's to accomplish the job. Grandpa wanted you all to know how many tools it took to repair a "Small" leak.

Todd's Birthday, Heather at the Disney Princesses on Ice, Carli at the Craft Fair, Amanda and Garrett's visit, and Amy, Danny, and Jacob's visit and an early Christmas gift of some cabinet refinishing and of course Dennis working on the tile. What a terrific family. I will add alot more information a bit later when I get somethings caught up.

Windows ---Windows --- Windows

Yesterday Tonya helped me finish the windows for Uncle Harlen and Valerie --- Glad to just about be done. I know that there are others that are still waiting --- If Grandpa and I can help let us know. We will do our best to help. Nichole sent me a picture of her window this morning. She is just about finished --- just a little more adornment.

First Birthday ---- SO FUN
