Tomorrow is Another Day

So many more fun times --- will catch them later with photos ---- still trying to find where I saved them  ----

Weather Slowness

We knew it would go from very cold to very hot overnight and that is exactly what has happened and I have slowed a great deal.  So many exciting and fun things have happened the past days that I have not recorded.  So here is a few journal entries.

1.  I did it - YEAH!!!!   I have been very nervous the last months about my ability to drive very far alone.  Brad has been the driver for so long I think I just forgot how.  Anyway --- when Amy and Jacob were here we needed to go to Logan to look for tile and get some kitchen supplies.  The car was out of gas and guess what ---- Brad was not around.  He always fills the car with gas.  I am ashamed to say I have not put gas in a vehicle since we have been married.  So off to the Sinclair below the hill and with Amy's instructions I think I helped just a bit and learned what to do.  Just swipe that card, select the octane and pull the lever.  I also did the driving to Logan.  Well that was a first step to gaining some confidence in myself so last week I drove myself to Stansbury to spend a couple of days playing with Jacob and helping Amy put a quilt on for Jacob. Got on Legacy fine and got past the airport in great shape ---- arrived with everything in tact.  However, I am afraid that I will never be a great Star Wars fan.  That was the movie of the day.  Little nervous about coming home but I merged at the Ogden/Provo exit just fine ----- merged on the Legacy real great (missed it the last time I did it alone)  ---got off at Park Lane to visit the Sorias (they weren't home)   ---- merged back on to I-15 just fine and got home safe and sound.  The kicker was that I was doing this right in the middle of rush hour traffic.  I guess old ladies in big cars may be is a signal for other drivers to just leave us alone.

2.  Tile work on the kitchen floor.     Todd, Damon, Grandpa and I made a trip to Lowe's to get all the supplies to do the kitchen floor.  We really appreciate them.  We are learning but it really helps to have input from those who have experience.  We were also blessed to get a very good clerk who was willing to go the extra mile and be sure we had everything that we needed.  However,  they did not have the tile in so we took everything else and would pick the tile up in a few days.  Friday on Paul's day off he helped Grandpa cut and set the Hardy board down. We came up short two pieces so on Saturday we headed to Logan to get some more.  They had not called about the tile but when I checked it out it was in  --- so glad---one less trip to Logan.  They loaded the pallet into the pick-up and it was heavy --- twenty boxes.  Brad can tell you that by the time he got them unloaded he knew just how heavy they were.  I could not even lift a box so I was no help at all.   Early Saturday the rest of the hardy board was put  into place.  On Tuesday the 22nd Brad and I did the job.  I would get the thinset down on the floor - Brad would smooth it up we would set the board down and screw it down.  It only took us six hours.  I know the young people could have done it much quicker.  We made a pretty good team.  Bed and Tylenol were definitely needed that night.  Then on Saturday Jeff began to lay the tile.  As of today most of the whole tiles are laid and the rest will require cutting.  With Jeff, Todd and Mary this job is a cinch.  Thanks so much to everyone for your help.

3.  GREAT GRANDMA gets to TEND a great grandchild for the first time.  Carli asked if I would watch Kaden on Wednesday while she spent some time in the swimming pool with Brandon.  I was happy to.  And that is exactly what I did "WATCHED".  He slept the whole time.  Such a good little boy.  However, Carli said he kind of has his days and nights mixed up.  Sorry,  but it was fun to have this quiet time with a special little boy.  The house was quiet and with some music playing on the I-POD we both had a very pleasant time.

4.  Learned that Heather is taking swimming lessons at the Bountiful Recreational Center.  I know she loves the water but still seems so small.  Her mom says she is doing well.  When I talked with Heather on the phone she was excited and asked me to come see her so Thursday is the day because unless things change this will be her last week.

5.  Brandon with Cameron's help is taking down the lounge shed.  The tin is about all off and then they will start on the wood.  We are so glad for these two strong young men.  We knew that Grandpa and I could not do it and had no idea who we could hire.  I don't wish Brandon any bad luck in finding a job now that he is through school but I am really happy that we can hire them for now.  It is really looking so much nicer.  Brad has some bites on people who are maybe interested in the big hay shed.  Hope they come through.

6.  Grandma got to take MacKenzie to her ballgame.  Glad that everyone had some place to be and I got the fun.  She does really well.  She is a great little catcher.  (I really don't know how she does it because the girls are just learning to pitch and the ball can go anywhere)  She was the first batter up because we got to the ballpark first and she got a good hit and made it to first.  However, even though they did a great joy they lost.  That night her coaches took the team to the batting cages at "Toads" to have fun.  It was a late night and I know she slept way late this morning.
I just got home in time to get in before a terrific wind storm hit.  I was sure we would be blown all the way to Mary and Todds.

7.  Today began with great excitement.  A very early call from Nichole --- I knew something was wrong --- at 6:15 in the morning the Isaacson family is asleep.  "Mom" I am taking Hunter to the emergency room.  If I am not through by eight can you come down and help with the children till I get home.  Sure but what is wrong?  He is having very bad stomach pains and can't stand up.  He says he needs to see a doctor and Insta Care does not open until nine. Well, long story made short --- when they got to the hospital he decided that he would be fine for awhile so they headed back home.  Tonight he is doing fine but Nichole seems to have the bug.
About 7:00 a.m. the phone said "Tonya, mobile one calling".  Now that happens once in a while but not so often that I know that some help may be needed.  "Mom, how do I get a birth certificate for Nate".  Today was the much anticipated day for Nate.  He could get his learners permit ----but, they would need his birth certificate, social security card and other id's.  Tonya had searched but could not locate where it had got put.  She was on her way to work - a big meeting going on at the office - could I help find out where she could get one.  Nate had been born in Ogden so I checked out the Weber Health Department - got the address and phone number.  She really hated to disappoint Nate.  When I called to check on her and see how I could help she told me she was walking out of the Bear River Health Department with the certificate in hand.  So glad she could get it closer to home.  After work they headed to Brigham City.  YEP ---- HE GOT IT ---- but he did not want to drive home from Brigham --- said it was too scary.  So they came to our house and he drove home from here.  GOOD LUCK to NATE and to MOM and DAD.

7.  SCOUT CAMPS for the Grandsons --- TRISTIN spent last week at Bear Lake for camp.  Reports he had a good time and earned some merit badges.
DAMON - is at camp this week.  Will only be earning a couple of badges --- he is well on his way to earning his Eagle.
NATE - will head to camp this coming Monday.  Working hard toward his Eagle --- just waiting on time restrictions.
We are very pround of each one of you for your hard work and dedication.

8.  Hope to soon feel better and get going.

It's a #10 Day for Nate

No ----- not how old he is  ---- he is old enough to get his driver's permit.  He has been counting down the days for this fantastic event.  But just in case his birthday is remembered for other things we want to wish him the very best.   HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATE!!!!
Nathanial Dale Woodruff is a very special grandson.  It has been fun to share life with him.  Nate has always been curious and active.  Always trying to copy the things of his Dad and older cousins.  He might be the only boy but he definitely has not been influenced by the girly stuff.
I really am very surprised that Tonya and DelRay have not had more emergency room visits for Nate.  One of Nate's special attributes is that he really knows how to work.  In this day and age that is sometimes a very rare attribute for the young.  I give great credit to his mom and dad for always insisting that the children in their home were capable of helping and learning how to work.  With mom and dad gone to work each day chores were assigned and accomplished.  Yes, maybe sometimes not just like the adults would do but they still got done.  Nate is a good friend ---- willing to go the extra mile to be sure that others are okay.  Working side by side with his friend Jaron and Grandpa Woodruff he has learned some of the skills that it takes to be a successful farmer.  (that means irrigating no matter the time or how little sleep you have had) Life has not always been easy for Nate, especially when it comes to participating in sports.  He has had to work hard and prove himself to the coaches.  He proved this year in baseball that hard work does pay off when he received the coaches award at the spring banquet.  Hunting, four wheeling, camping, sports, friends, family and service keep this young man busy.  He is working towards becoming an Eagle Scout and I am sure that a mission will be in his future.  We are very proud of Nate and are blessed to be his grandparents.  "LOVE YOU LOTS'

Anniversary twenty-nine for the Woodruffs

Oh My---this was a different anniversary day for DelRay and Tonya --- he was sleeping so he could go to work tonight and she spent the day cleaning.  Tonya says that this is the first anniversary that they have not been together.  I hope it will also be the last.  The Woodruff home is changing --- with Kelsey married things just seem different and to top it off MacKenzie is spending the weekend at the Isaacson home.  Tonight the anniversary will be celebrated with Nate and hopefully a good movie.

Anniversary Day for Jeff and Nichole

Celebrating nineteen years the Isaacsons will be doing it in a very unique way.  Jeff in Minnesota and Nichole in Utah.  When their family comes back together again in a year they will have to have a double celebration.  If I could remember all of the different homes and places that they have lived it would be very interesting I am sure.  I hope that the time will soon come when they will be blessed with a permanent address.  It is great that they are so flexible and work together so well.  They share a great love and are truly a great support to each other and their family of four boys.

The Life of Jesus Christ

Sunday was my turn to teach in Relief Society.  How blessed I was that the lesson was on the Life of Jesus Christ.  The lesson material was so beautifully written and my heart was touched so deeply.  I would like to share my opening that I gave to the sisters.  This week as I was helping at Nichole and Jeff's home in Syracuse I had taken my scriptures and lesson manual with hopes of finding a few quiet moments to study.  We were sitting in the living room --- Nichole, Hunter, Grandpa and I.  I told Nichole that I thought I would take my picture of Christ as a visual aid.  It is the same one that is on her living room wall.  Christ looking down on Jerusalem.  Hunter spoke up and asked, "Grandma how do you know that is what Jesus looks like?"  Well that is a very good question, I have never seen the Savior but  perhaps the artist knew of Jesus' heritage, the culture of the day and hopefully he was blessed with inspiration to do his painting.  I then expressed to Hunter that the important thing would be for each one of us to know the Savior well enough by studying his life and teachings that when he does come again to the earth we will not need a picture to recognize him but that we will know for a surety that it is Jesus Christ because our lives will be so in tune with His that the Holy Ghost will testify to us that it is He.  I truly pray that as a Family we will strive each day to have the spirit of Christ with us in our thoughts and actions.  I love my Savior and I know that He loves me.

Happy Birthday to Brandon

Brandon Paul is celebrating his nineteenth birthday today.  He has grown into a fine young man.  We have been so blessed to have Brandon live next door to us all of these years.  He has always been so kind and courteous to Grandpa and I.  When I need help in the yard I knew that I could call on him.  One of my fondest memories is how he would always be sure to come and invite us to Grandparents day at his school at Bear River City.  It was so fun and we were so proud to be his grandparents.  Perhaps school was not always his favorite place to go but every morning early he would get on the big yellow school bus.  Not many young teenage boys would do that every day.  Brandon enjoys his skateboard or should I say skateboards.  It would be interesting to know just how many he has gone through.  With an inventive mind he has created some interesting jumps and also had some interesting crashes.  Brandon is now in the market for a fabulous job.  He has completed his studies in diesel mechanics at Bridgerland and would really love to be working.  He is without wheels at the present time ---- seems that station wagons are not meant for hill climbing.  Our prayers are truly with him that his dreams and goals will take place.  We also pray that his testimony will become strong and that he will really know for a surety that he is a special son of His Father in Heaven and that if he will faithfully be a witness of Christ he will truly accomplish great things.  We love you BUD

Clayton gets his Tonsils Out !

Tuesday, June 15, 2010, was the big day.  When Clayton went for his last dental appointment his dentist called Nichole in and asked?  "Have you looked at this boys tonsils?"  Nichole had never really thought about them because Clayton is such a healthy young man.  No bouts with his tonsils at all.  But when she looked she could see what the dentist meant.  Clay's tonsils were very very large.  HUGE in fact.  Clayton has always been a loud "Snorer" and no one likes to share a bedroom with him and his tonsils were the reason why.  Nichole had noticed that sometimes he would not breath evenly while he slept.  She took him to the doctor as recommended and sure enough he said that the tonsils and adenoids really did need to come out.  An appointment was made with Dr. Kelly at Primary Children's Hospital for the procedure to take place.  On Monday they let Nichole know that they would need to check in at two p.m.  She had asked me to bring the GPS down so it would guide her to the hospital.  (Now Primary Children's Hospital is not an unfamiliar place to the Isaacson family since Hunter has been going their regularly for the last few years).  Nichole was concerned because Jeff had always done the driving in the past and never seemed to take the same route.  She programed in what she thought was the hospital but for some reason it took her clear south to Murray to another division of the hospital.  Skylar gave me a call ---- MOM IS LOST!
- call the hospital and tell them that we will be late.  I did this and the lady I talked with chuckled and asked where she was ---- I said way south.  Evidently Nichole is not the first late person and told me to tell her to get on State Street and then get off at 100 East and travel east till she came to the hospital.  I really do not know how she got there but she did and Clayton was prepared for the surgery.  It took about thirty minutes and the job was done.  When he was waking up in recovery he was madder than a disturbed hornet and said "I didn't want my tonsils out".  He thrashed about and so his IV came out of his hand.  It took a lot of talk to calm this little spit fire down.  By seven thirty he, Nichole and Skylar were back home settling down for hopefully a good quiet night.  I had gone down earlier in the day to stay with Sam, Heather, Hunter and Tristin.
It was a ballgame night for Tristin.  A double header.  We need to be to the ballpark by five.  Natalie had picked up the children and I took a rest until time to leave.  I had allowed fifteen minutes to take the five minute trip.  Half way to the park Tristin said ---"Grandma, you have to turn around and go back - I forgot my hat".   Now it is my understanding that Tristin always forgets something.  Home we went and he arrived at the park ten minutes late.  Both teams that they were to play that night were short players so they just scrimmaged.  Grandpa had driven down and met us at the ballpark.  The wind was very brisk and I was cold.  Kind of glad when Skylar came to relieve me for the second game.  Hunter enjoyed the game by playing on his skateboard.  I don't know if Tristin really likes baseball or if it is just that his coaches don't show a lot of interest in teaching them.  I think he is glad that it is over.
We decided it would be best to spend the night at the Isaacson home in case anything went wrong with Clayton.  Grandpa and I do pretty good on a double bed but it does seem a bit small when you are used to a larger one.  Clayton had an okay night but not a lot of rest for Nichole.  I know that she was exhausted from the worry and stress and being without Jeff.  She is a real trooper.  All Clayton could think about was that he had been promised some LEGO's and he wanted them "NOW".  Trying to keep him calm and quiet is not an easy job.  Heather was so excited when Grandpa opened the door on Wednesday morning ---- and a bit surprised. She and Sam had come earlier than the normal time and Aunt Nichole was at Wal-Mart getting the LEGO. Grandpa left to go home about nine after breakfast and I stayed to help play with the children and do what i could.
Crazy day - tired adults - but we made it.  Grandma left to come home about two.  Clayton is now doing better at taking his medicine --- not fighting it so bad.  Things seem to be going okay.  Love him so much ---- glad some of it is behind him and his mom and that each day will be better.

Sleepover at Grandma and Grandpas

Friday, June 11, 2010 ----- Wall to Wall beds for Grandma and Grandpa.  It is such a fun time when family sleeps over.  Just not a great deal of rest for anyone.  I understand that Aunt Nichole had had enough by 1:30 p.m. and told everyone to close their eyes and go to sleep --- RIGHT NOW.  Sorry, Grandma and Grandpa's bedroom is at the other end of the house ---- guess we slept right through it.  But the children do have fun getting together - Jacob and Clayton - Hunter and MacKenzie -  and Skylar and Tristin are just on their own.  Grandma got a bit confused about how many to set the Breakfast table for ---- I kept saying nine and was told it would be ten.  So counted again ---- OOPS - MacKenzie was under the covers still trying to sleep - it was ten.  A very late night supper of pizza was had when the Isaacsons arrived and they had no more finished eating when Skylar was asking what was for breakfast.  Takes a lot to feed growing boys.  Grandma promised a great breakfast of French Toast, bacon, hash browns and fresh fruit and juice.
One of the usual events of a family sleep over is a clogged JOHN.  Well, this time it was not the boys ---- yes -  the lone girl MacKenzie managed the feat and was she ever proud.  I know not every family would discuss this matter but it really is a standing occurrence.  Maybe sometime we will get this problem solved but for now we just pray that nothing too serious happens and we have a major flood.  Everyone pitched in and soon sleeping bags were rolled and put away, dishes done and the kitchen cleaned, and we again looked a bit put together.  As the weather warmed the backyard and the basketball court became a wonderful playground for games with Nate and Brandon joining the group.  But ----- alas for some reason  an argument occurred and soon a crying child came in.  What happened next was not so great.  It is so hard to have conflict in a family.  After much discussion and trying to ease the situation it was decided to ask Uncle Paul to come over and assist grandpa in giving the four Isaacson boys a Priesthood Blessing.  I know that having their father so far away has been a strain on the whole family and that at times Nichole becomes overwhelmed.  I do know that being close to our Heavenly Father and calling upon Him for help is the greatest blessing that we have.  WE ARE NOT ALONE ---- He will help us.  We all gathered in the great room and wonderful blessings were given ---- And I know that hearts were touched and hopefully words will not be forgotten and the boys will always know that Heavenly Father will help them and that if they will but follow the example of Christ and LOVE ONE ANOTHER ---- they will become very supportive and loving brothers.  My grandchildren are so very precious and as their grandmother I am always thinking and praying for them.  The gospel of Jesus Christ is here on the earth at this time because of the restoration and the work of the Prophet Joseph Smith.  Dear Grandchildren embrace the gospel and know that it will never let you down.  It's teachings will lift and guide you to be the best that you can be.  Love you lots

Day Trip with the Despains

Summer is here --- anyway it is suppose to be!!!! ---- The Despains arrived this morning about nine o clock after Amy got off of work. After breakfast a day trip was planned to a local sight seeing area. (One of those places so close that you forget about it. It was a very fun time even if the weather again was warm one minute and cold the next. They had many fun displays and a nice movie about the building of the railroads and the meeting of the east and west and the driving of the golden spike. And of course the gift shop is alwasy a fun place. I really thought that we would be the only people there but I was wrong. Several families and most from out of state. Amazing. I even did the driving which is unusal for me --- since marrying Brad I have driven such a small amount that I have lost a bit of confidence in myself. But I did it and did fine. Went out past P and G and came home over the Faust Valley Road. Lots of memories came to mind of days past. Sledding on the hill and one crazy dad and the fun we had.

Wilford Henton Clayton - June 10, 1906 -

Today is the birthday of my father Wilford Henton Clayton. Dad was born in Allensville Township, Person County, North Carolina. He was the oldest child of Thomas and Dorcas Clayton. He was also their greatest help and support during his life. Dad was able to only attend school to the eighth grade because it was necessary that he work to help with the support of his family. My dad was a good man. He was very much a perfectionist and doing things the best way. He passed this same work ethic on to all of his children and maybe we would like to not admit it but we are very much like him. Give it your very best and take care of what you have. I was not always the easiest child and Dad and I had some hard times but I guess like most parents he still continued to love me and look after my needs.

Following is from Dad's history ----- I appreciate and love him and his example.
I can recall vividly the early years of my life when Dad and Mother first decided to come out west for the good of better conditions and to rear their family in the church and to enjoy the better things which the west had to offer them. One of my early experiences as I remember it was when we lived in Idaho Falls. I remember that Ellie became very ill and the Elders of the Church were called to administer to her. I have always remembered this event, and how wonderful it was to witness the powers of the Priesthood in action. And through the administration of the Priesthood by the Elders, she was raised from her bed and was able to go on in her daily activities of life. Then I remember well Dad broke his leg and was disabled for a long time and finally Grandfather Clayton persuaded dad to go back to North Carolina with his family.

As time went on after we returned to North Carolina, many interesting things came into my life. I well remember some of the mischievous things I did when I was going to school. One day I had to stand in the corner for an hour for teasing the girls. Another day I remember getting a terrible beating from one of my supposed to be friends just because he was jealous of me and his friends were not too many. So went some of my school experiences as the years went by.

Dad and mother moved us around quite a lot over the state of North Carolina. We lived about three or four years in the state of Virginia near the town of Petersburg. I attended school there and also worked for a Mr. Rex Beach who operated a car body paint shop in Petersburg. I learned to paint very good; in fact, I became a finisher at painting automobile bodies. I remember that I bought my first bicycle from the money I earned from Mr. Beach. I used to go around selling Cloverine Salves to earn spending money, and to get the prizes offered for my services. I remember one Saturday I went to the post office in Petersburg to mail a money order for the company I was selling for. I left my bicycle outside and when I came out of the post office someone had taken my bike. This hurt me very much. I reported it to the police but they never found it for me. In the fall of this same year, dad and mother moved back into North Carolina, locating south of Fayetteville, about thirty miles, at a lumber camp. We worked very hard while at the lumber mills as we were trying to save money enough to come back west to Ucon, Idaho. This became a reality in the year of nineteen hundred and twenty.

Well, I remember landing in Ucon and walking from the train station to our Uncle Sam Clayton’s home. I will never forget how the people looked and stared at us as we walked down the highway to where Uncle Sam lived. It was a humbling experience for all of us. I remember how the kids of my age used to snicker and laugh at me for being a fat boy, and they would get me to talk, as I was a typical southerner in my speech. I soon overcame this difficulty as I went to school here in Ucon. My schooling was limited to just the eighth grade and about two and a half months of high school. At this stage of life, everyone had to pay their own tuition for high school education.

I have had to work very hard during my younger years to help dad and mother provide the means of life for the family. I received the offices in the Aaronic Priesthood as I became of age and worthy.

Well, I remember as I grew older and became interested in the beautiful girls of the Ucon Ward, I had became rather infatuated with a very fine young lady who sat in front of me in school. Her name was Harriet Hill. She never did show but very little interest in me but persistently I endeavored to get her to take just a little interest in me. Time seemed to work this problem out for me.

Many times I left home and went away to work so as to get ahead to do the things which I had planned in my life to do. I worked in mining camps, lumber camps, in the railroad ships in Salt Lake City, and on the railroad section to earn moneys for the things which I had always wanted. I well remember my first automobile I purchased from the money I earned on the railroad. While working in the coal mines near Driggs, Idaho, my dear lady friend and I decided to become married in the Salt Lake City Temple and it was a thrilling experience to have come into our lives. We have been blessed with nine wonderful children. There is still seven living in our married union, as we lost a daughter in 1932, and a son in the year 1944. Life for us has been a wonderful experience. We have enjoyed sorrow and also progress in our ways of life. I have had some exceptional experiences in the Church. Being President of the Elders Quorum for five years. I was advanced to the Seventies Quorum and was class instructor for about two years. I was called to be a Stake Missionary when ordained a Seventy, but couldn’t accept the opportunity due to the work I was doing in our business, which kept me away from home so much. In the year of 1953, I was stricken with a several spinal condition and finally had to submit to surgery for the major operation on my back. The operation was a success for which I am most grateful. In the fall of the same year, I was interviewed for a mission. This came as the biggest shock I had ever had in my life. I was so shocked that I hardly overcome the thoughts and the shock that came over me. We as a family discussed this calling a lot, and prayed as to the purpose of this calling. Our bishop promised us that the Lord would bless and sustain us in this adventure, and that everything would work out, as it should for us. I departed for my mission from Salt Lake City on the 25th day of November 1953 and spent a wonderful two years laboring in the Central Atlantic States. Mission Headquarters at Roanoke, Virginia.

This is Dad’s history as he wrote it to the time indicated above. Dad returned from his mission in 1956, to again work at his trucking business and enjoy his life with mother and the family.

Dad would pass away the day before his and mom's forty-second wedding anniversary - February 23, 1969, at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He had had exploratory surgery ten days earlier on his brain to see what was causing his illness, they found three cancerous tumors. Dad had signed the release to continue on with surgery if it was needed. This they did --- he never regained consciousness.

Spring in Utah!!!!!!

Never really can plan to far ahead because you just might get surprised or disappointed. Yesterday was actually a very nice day. Brad and I made a delivery to the Isaacsons who were visiting the Sorias in Farmington. After a supper of PaPa Johns Pizza and bread sticks (first time for me and I liked - especially the garlic dipping sauce) it was to the area swimming pool for some fun. However, no one had a camera or phone. The children had a great time. It was a first for Sam and he did good. His eyes were just wide taking it all in. Perhaps if summer will slow enough for the families to swim the children will become great little water people.
Today the weather has been all over the place---- I was out early starting some water and pulling weeds and then just after breakfast it clouded up and we had some rain -----then the sun came out for awhile. Mandy and Garrett are visiting with the Woods family and had fun trying out Grandpa and Grandma Woods new swimming pool. Garrett was a natural and was so fun to watch. But the weather changed again and a chill came so it was out of the pool to warm up. MacKenzie enjoyed the water put the Brewers and Grandma Wood were just observers.

We have had rain and wind off and on ever since. At sunset the sky was filled with a magnificent rainbow. Wish the picture could do it justice.
Today I have spent organizing, filing, and learning a new genealogy program. I so enjoy this and hope to leave my posterity a history that will reflect the great heritage that they have.
