This past week we had a touch of winter come to our valley. Very cold with new snow on our mountains. However, the yard is still beautiful and green. The trees and bushes are not yet turning to their beautiful autumn colors so I think we have a while yet to get all the fall work completed. Brad is waiting for the field to dry from the rain and then will begin to plant the winter wheat. There is still a lot of work to be done cleaning up the rest of the lounge shed and corrals. Hope some of it can be done before winter.
I am glad that some things have slowed down. The garden is on the tail end of its production and the canning for the year is complete.
We do not have another break from the temple until Christmas. We are coming along with our training and hopefully the nerves will be settled down and we can truly enjoy serving in the House of the Lord. I am very grateful for this calling but it is hard right now. We come home very tired.
