Twins Game at the Target Center

Jeff had gotten tickets for us to go to a Minnesota Twins ballgame on the 1st.  We thought about taking the train into the city but after some discussion decided that driving would be the safer option because the train left thirty minutes after the game ended.  Well, this was a good decision because we were as far from the station as we good get and I know that I would have missed it. (Jeff said he couldn't have made it eitherJ).  This was the last train back to Anoka and we would have been stranded.  It is the inagural season for the stadium and it is very nice and was jam packed.  They said that there was 40,000 plus in attendance and the stadium holds 38,000.  Sold a lot of standing places.  The attendants were very nice and luckily it was an overcast day.  With the high temperatures and the very high humidity it can become very warm.  We certainly lucked out with the cloud cover and a slight breeze.  Nichole said the game was very boring --- However, the one exciting inning did happen when Jeff, Skylar and Clayton left to visit the restrooms and purchase some treats.  (thanks Jeff for the cool ice cream)  My observation having attended only two major league ballgames is that most of the people come to drink and eat.  Not real sure how many get home not drunk.  It is fun to see how other people act and makes me even more grateful for my heritage and the gospel.
The Twins ended up winning the game and we had a fine time together.
On our way back to Jeff's place we looked at a couple of possible areas that the Isaacson family could live.
