It's a #10 Day for Nate

No ----- not how old he is  ---- he is old enough to get his driver's permit.  He has been counting down the days for this fantastic event.  But just in case his birthday is remembered for other things we want to wish him the very best.   HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATE!!!!
Nathanial Dale Woodruff is a very special grandson.  It has been fun to share life with him.  Nate has always been curious and active.  Always trying to copy the things of his Dad and older cousins.  He might be the only boy but he definitely has not been influenced by the girly stuff.
I really am very surprised that Tonya and DelRay have not had more emergency room visits for Nate.  One of Nate's special attributes is that he really knows how to work.  In this day and age that is sometimes a very rare attribute for the young.  I give great credit to his mom and dad for always insisting that the children in their home were capable of helping and learning how to work.  With mom and dad gone to work each day chores were assigned and accomplished.  Yes, maybe sometimes not just like the adults would do but they still got done.  Nate is a good friend ---- willing to go the extra mile to be sure that others are okay.  Working side by side with his friend Jaron and Grandpa Woodruff he has learned some of the skills that it takes to be a successful farmer.  (that means irrigating no matter the time or how little sleep you have had) Life has not always been easy for Nate, especially when it comes to participating in sports.  He has had to work hard and prove himself to the coaches.  He proved this year in baseball that hard work does pay off when he received the coaches award at the spring banquet.  Hunting, four wheeling, camping, sports, friends, family and service keep this young man busy.  He is working towards becoming an Eagle Scout and I am sure that a mission will be in his future.  We are very proud of Nate and are blessed to be his grandparents.  "LOVE YOU LOTS'
