Bear River Graduation for Carli and Shaylee

CARLI JO FIRTH----- Tonight was a proud night for parents and grandparents. Carli became the last member of her family to graduate from Bear River High School. Carli has had a very successful school experience. As I have watched her this last couple of years I am amazed that she has been able to do everything. Going to school and holding down an after school job is not easy. Finding that balance of studying, working and having some fun can leave even young people exhausted. I am so very grateful that Carli made the decision to finish High school even when she knew that the added responsibility of a baby was going to be hers. We are proud of her. Carli enjoyed tennis during part of her high school years and I understand socializing was perhaps one of her favorite "Classes". Carli has set her goal to become a pharmacists aide. She will be doing classes on line. Keep up the good work Carli ---- YOU CAN DO IT

SHAYLEE DAWN JOHNSON ---- Proud Bear River Graduate ---- and even more so a very relieved graduate. Shaylee is kind of like our dark haired blonde. Sometimes things just go
"Wissssss" right over her head. When it comes to a cute giggle that would be Shaylee. But there have been times during her school years when things were not so easy. But she has persevered and accomplished the work necessary for graduation. From classes in Interior Design to Social Dancing she has been a great fun student. During this last year as she interned at a local kindergarten class she realized how much she loved teaching and helping these little ones. She has now set a goal to attend Utah State University and prepare herself to be a teacher. It will take great dedication and much hard work but I know that Shaylee has the stuff necessary to do it. GO FOR IT SHAYLEE ----- We love you
Tonight Brad and I were able to attend the graduation ceremonies for Carli and Shaylee at the Spectrum at Utah State University. We arrived early (very early) and were able to have some great seats to watch the girls. It was a very nice ceremony ---- organized and handled so well. Enjoyed the prelude music from the High School Jazz Band. The speakers were good ---- short and to the point. Hope all of the graduates will be careful as they celebrate tonight.
BEST OF LUCK GIRLS
