Our New Years Baby of 1969 is celebrating her birthday. How well I remember that day. We felt so blessed that we were able to have her. It was a bit touch and go for awhile. Blessings do come in such special ways. Mary Anne is one of those special blessings. Dale had lost a very special grandmother earlier in the fall ----Grandma Mary Elizabeth Payne Summers Burnhope. He loved her so much. They could tease each other so good. There was never a question in his mind or mine that if our baby was a little girl she would be Mary. The Anne was after my grandmother and my mom who where very special women. Women of faith, women of love, women of peace. That is the kind of woman that Mary Anne is. We wish her the very best. May peace by hers and her families this coming year. HAPPY BIRTHDAY
