Ryan is celebrating a birthday

Happy Birthday to our grandson Ryan. We are so very proud of this young man. He has completed his schooling and is now an official electrician. It takes hard work and dedication to accomplish goals but in the end it is so worth it. Ryan and Jordan have established a home and our prayers are with them. Love you Ryan.


Elwood Easter Egg Hunt

Brad and I had a first today.  Having Jacob at our home gave us the perfect opportunity to go to the Easter Hunt at Hansen.  It was prepared by the Elwood Youth Council.  They did a good job.  It was fun having the Despain family with us.  Brad had worked on the park during the week and it is starting to look pretty good after the terrible floods of last year.
Jacob picked up alot of eggs but darn it he did not get one marked with an X so he could get a large chocolate bunny.  Fun to see lots of Elwood families and former families there.
