"So how is retirement?" we are often asked ---- "couldn't be better will be our reply" ---- time for each other and time for family ---- and that leaves no time for self pity. Loving every minute and grateful for each new day. When given the chance we load up and are on our way. Being with family is the best that life can offer. And their sweet love and kindness in return makes each day just a bit better

Sid in the Hospital
Brad and I went to the Soria's last night. Sid was scheduled for a surgery this morning at five thirty. It was to be an out patient procedure. BUT---- he is still in the hospital tonight. The doctor said it was a painful surgery plus with Sid's history he said he should have just admitted him first. Then they all would get rest. I hope his recovery will be quick.
We enjoyed being with the children. This morning we were able to get Heather and Sam ready for school and Elizabeth changed and fed her bottle. That is after a desperate call to Natalie to learn how to put the special bottle together. She so wanted it NOW and it took me too long. Kinley arrived at eight thirty and helped finish up and drive the children to school.
Brad had a grave to dig today so we headed home this morning.
Our hearts and prayers are with the Soria family tonight.
