"So how is retirement?" we are often asked ---- "couldn't be better will be our reply" ---- time for each other and time for family ---- and that leaves no time for self pity. Loving every minute and grateful for each new day. When given the chance we load up and are on our way. Being with family is the best that life can offer. And their sweet love and kindness in return makes each day just a bit better

Glenda Lee Firth Nesbit
Fifty years ago a second little baby girl came to our home. Glenda has always been the strong silent daughter in our family. She was always willing to help whenever help was needed. Glenda was one of the youngest students in her school classes but she was alway at the top of her class. She willingly served her sisters and brothers. Maybe once in awhile we did have some conflict but she usually found the way to end it. I do hope that someday Glenda will be able to live in a place that she can once again have a horse. Selling her horses was one of the hardest things that had to be done when Dale died and we moved away from the farm. My love for this sweet daughter is eternal. I am grateful to be her mother. Happy Birthday.
