MacKenzie has been working very hard on her research, report and display for the World Fair at her school. She selected the country of Brazil for her report. (Having returned missionaries as family and friends were a great aide to her.) Her report was so complete and so very neat. She did a fantastic job. Brad and I were able to go to the school on Tuesday evening to see all the displays. Tonya had spent all day at the school helping MacKenzie's teacher and classmates getting everything set up. Lots of work by many hands. For a while we were wondering if we were going to be able to get inside the building. There was absolutely no parking places within a comfortable walking distance for me. We drove around and finally found a close parking space. It was just a bit small and was a tight squeeze for Brad to back the car into. Has been along time since we have had to pull in and park at the curb.
MacKenzie looked so cute and so happy and her display was awesome. So many beautiful and interesting items and facts. We were so proud to be her grandparents. All of the other displays and reports were done by at least two students but no one else signed up for Brazil so MacKenzie had to do everything by herself. Of course she has one fabulous mother to help her. Also Justin, Aunt Glenda, Grandma Deanna and Elder Lish were able to supply some items. My favorite is the petrified piranha. Those teeth look mean.
I asked MacKenzie who else had a great display that we should see. With a cute smile she said that the boy doing Russia had a good one. Oh! maybe she likes this boy. Yep! she does ---- Whit is his name. Enjoy the pictures ---- we enjoyed the fair.
