It was a very cold day that February fifteen years ago when Damon was born. As Brad and I think about this special young man many memories are still vivid in our minds. The sound of the Life Flight helicopter winding up its motors to take off for Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City is so vivid in our memories. As we stood there at the emergency exit of the Logan Hospital and watched them rapidly wheel our new little grandson out and onto that helicopter our hearts were so full and also very frightened. Would prayers be answered? Would he even make it? Fifteen years later and he is doing so great. After all the trauma that this little boy had been through as a baby you would never guess it now. Tall, handsome, so very polite, an honorable priesthood boy, a wonderful son, a great brother, and a terrific grandson. We are so proud of Damon and so very grateful that Heavenly Father answered many prayers that night. Our love always.
