"So how is retirement?" we are often asked ---- "couldn't be better will be our reply" ---- time for each other and time for family ---- and that leaves no time for self pity. Loving every minute and grateful for each new day. When given the chance we load up and are on our way. Being with family is the best that life can offer. And their sweet love and kindness in return makes each day just a bit better

Saturday Visits
It was nice to have some family drop in to visit on Saturday ---- A special thanks to Meagan for the delicious and beautiful Valentine Sugar Cookies she delivered - everyone really enjoyed them. MacKenzie was also spending the day with Meagan and the Woods --- she is so darn cute and funny. She can come up with some crazy words. Maybe she is really going to be a true blonde. Had a nice visit with Teresa ---and of course Homer always goes where she does. Shaylee stopped long enough to say "Hi" before heading to work ---- declaring that she is a vegetarian now after seeing that 32 ounce porterhouse/medium rare steak that Bart ate at Maddoxs. Heidi came with a load of paperwork so she could start working on her taxes with her mom --- always a fun time. Carli and Mike dropped by after supper with his family. They both agree that school is a drag but are doing okay.
