Home again ----- nice but we certainly had a great time. Now the weather was a bit tentative at first but it gradually warmed up and was great. We picked up MacKenzie on Thursday from school (she did have a big smile --- but I am a little worried about the smile today because she is suppose to have a Science test and we just played so much the studying did not get done) and it was off to Syracuse to meet up with the Isaacsons. Boy does it take allot of STUFF for nine people to be gone for three and a half days. There was no way that Jeff could see out of his back window and the back of the pick-up was full ---however some of that stuff was Grandma and Grandpa's sleeping bags, 72 hour emergency food kit and our two tupperwares with emergency supplies. Never know just maybe something will happen and we will be stranded and need it all. (Funny HUH!!!)
Sam had a surgery follow-up appointment at three so it was important to get him and Heather to their mom. I felt sooooo bad because Heather thought I had come to take her with me. She is so sweet and loving and the look in her eyes when we buckled her into the Isaacson car was one that said "But Grandma I am suppose to be in your truck and going to your house". Soon my little Heather.
These three cut kids buckled up in our back seat and we were off ---- We would meet up with the Isaacsons sometime down the road. Grandpa always drives just the speed limit and well now Jeff pushes it just a little. We met up at Beaver.
Grandpa had to give MacKenzie a bit of a hard time about the "Y" --- you know the Yankees and Brigham Young University. She is so puzzled why they would be our favorites. (Just another way to tease the kids.) She loved the beautiful "Y" on the mountain!!!!!We tried out Mel's Diner in Beaver but to our surprise the biggest problem was that it did not have a restroom ----- been a long drive and kids needed to go. Ate real quick and off to find one. Beaver had had a bad snow storm the night before and was still cold and snowy. Tristin tried to get grandpa with the first snowball of the season.
Tired kid's, a mom, a dad, a grandpa and a grandma arrived at the condo around 8:30 --- that ride never gets any shorter or easier on the behind. The condo was amazing and lots of fun. I am adding a slide show of some of the fun times.
