Sid,Natalie and baby Elizabeth will fly to Washington DC early in the morning. Brad and I will be having fun with Heather and Sam while they are gone. Heather has been marking off the days on her calendar until she could come. The mom, dad and sister will fly back late Wednesday night. We will be going between both homes to work with the temple schedule and Heather's school. OOPS! that didn't happen. We just stayed at our house the entire time. We were a bit concerned about Sam being away from Mom and Dad so long, but he did great. Maybe a melt down once or twice but in the arms of Grandpa he was soon just fine. Heather said that we didn't get everything done that we talked about ----but we did keep busy and with my "DUMB" leg as Heather called it I was a little bit slow.
Heather is growing up so fast and changing so much. Sam tries to keep up with everything that she does, sometimes to sisters disgust. Grandpa and I smile and think how blessed we are to enjoy such a special time with family.
Monday was a shopping day at Kings for fun things. Brad had Sammy by the hand going up and down the isles and I had Heather. We just laughed. Sam we decided is just like his dad when it comes to shopping. Everything was two dollars and that was too much. Miss Heather however, had very expensive tastes. In the end she opted for a doll and jump rope and gave her four dollars to Grandpa for the extra cost. What jewels they are. Off course Sam opted for a bat and ball and a bag of twelve little balls. He just can't get enough of throwing and playing with balls. Every time grandpa pitched to him he would hit the floor with the bat before taking his batting stance. Heather is such a little mother with her babies. Each night it was time to put them in pajamas and in the morning they are dressed for the day. Just like mom does.
Tuesday was a picnic at the park and slip and slide time.
Wednesday was games at the house.
