A Special Day for Nate

Brad and I were able to share a special time with Nate and his family today.  He was ordained to the office of a Priest in the Aaronic Priesthood by his father DelRay.  He was given a very special blessing by his father and I truly hope that he will strive to live up to the promised blessings given to him.  That he will continue to serve his Father-in-Heaven and his family and his ward family.  It will take great strength and courage to be an honorable priesthood member in God's army.  The world would have him be just the opposite.  I know that Nate will give it his very best.  He has a very special mother and father to teach and help him along the way.  His sisters can also be of great help when he needs them.  I know that as grandparents that we will always have him in our hearts and prayers.

Sunday evening we were invited to share Birthday Cake and Ice Cream with Nate and his family.  He was being a crazy boy and much fun was had.

Tonya made him one terrific cake and it was delicious

Laughing so hard I don't think he got them all out ---- maybe missed the wish

He does give his dad a hard time ---- but dad gives him some too ---- good friends
