FAMILY IS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT!

What a great day - the front porch is just about completed. A little more touch up paint and the final caulking around the tile and it is celebration time. I know --- why are we so excited --- this has been hard work for two oldie goldies. Thanks to Paul for his help when we couldn't quite manage the job requiring precision carpenter skills. The front of the house also got touch up paint where needed so it looks quite fresh and new. Deanna also looks like she got a touch up job with the paint also. If the weather will just give us one more day we will be totally done and can leave on our trip without any concern.

We have enjoyed Damon's company tonight.
He is sleeping over and we will get him to school in the morning. Mary and Todd will be flying out at 6 a.m. for Mississippi to meet up with Mary's friend Brandi.
The three of them will then drive back to Utah and see a few of the sights.
Waiting to hear from Teresa and Paul about Amanda Jo. She is getting closer to having the baby and is feeling very miserable. Our prayers are with her and her little baby boy that all will be well and not too terribly difficult.

So grateful for our wonderful family ---- Thanks to each of you

Celebrating twenty five great years

It was September 28, 1984 at twelve noon when we were married at the Tremonton South Stake Relief Society Room by President Lowell Archibald. What an exciting day. And WOW what an exciting twenty-five years. A move to a new home in Elwood on the farm --- the marriages of the last five children ---- the addition of twenty one grandchildren to join Justin Daniel ---- the marriage of three grandchildren ----the birth of our first great grandchild Kinley Lynn and the anticipated arrival of our second ---- Graduations from High School and College and Master Degrees. Job changes for children and some new homes ---- the list just goes on and on. What a glorius time it has been. Thanks to our wonderful family. You are what has made it all great. We love you and so appreciate all that you do to for us.

So we spent the day working on the front porch 'again'. Had to redo --- because it fell apart. Brad did the grouting and then we went to Logan to purchase some wood to finish up and get some rain gutter. However, the rain gutter was too long for the truck so we will go back again on Tuesday with the trailer and pick it up. We had a fun lunch at Angies
(thanks Meagan for the tip about Angies ---Grandpa really enjoyed it) His Chicken Fried Steak covered the whole plate and the fries were just like Maddoxs. My Salmon was great too.

Well hopefully we get it all done before the predicted storm and cold weather arrives and we leave for Ruby's Inn.
